On location in Los Angeles and New York City, this series was created around television, commercial, and feature film sets, exploring the boundaries between the fabricated filmic atmosphere and the ordinary, everyday life surrounding these productions.  As illumination seeps beyond the set’s edge, an uncanny, peculiar and artificial space is created by navigating the camera to highlight the juxtaposition between the filmic and the non-filmic. Ultimately, the images capture that magical, temporal situation caught in a gap between the imagery shown on the silver screen and the ordinary world from which it was created.
